Protect both wheel hubs on your trailer with this 2-Pack 50.2mm Stainless Steel Bearing Protectors. Commonly known as Bearing Buddies, these premium spring-loaded bearing protectors maintain constant grease pressure inside the hub, helping prevent water, dirt and contaminants from entering while significantly extending wheel bearing life. They are an excellent upgrade for boat trailers and American-style trailer hubs operating in harsh Australian conditions.

Manufactured from all stainless steel, these heavy-duty bearing protectors provide exceptional corrosion resistance compared to chrome-plated alternatives. Each protector features an integrated grease nipple for fast servicing and a spring-loaded piston that automatically maintains positive grease pressure as hub temperatures change during towing. Two soft PVC dust caps are included to keep the grease fittings clean and protected.

Designed to suit 50.2mm (1.98") American trailer hubs, these bearing protectors are compatible with hubs using the L44649/L44610 outer bearing. This pair services both hubs on one complete trailer axle and is ideal for boat trailers, caravans, camper trailers, horse floats, box trailers and utility trailers.

Fill each bearing protector gradually with high-quality marine wheel bearing grease until the spring-loaded piston begins to move outward. Avoid overfilling, as excessive grease pressure can damage the rear grease seals. Always confirm your hub bore diameter is 50.2mm (1.98") and that your hub uses L44649/L44610 outer bearings before ordering.
