Protect multiple trailer hubs with this 4-Pack 45mm Stainless Steel Bearing Protectors. Commonly known as Bearing Buddies, these premium spring-loaded bearing protectors maintain constant grease pressure inside the hub, helping prevent water, dirt and contaminants from entering while significantly extending wheel bearing life. They are ideal for boat trailers that are regularly launched into fresh or salt water as well as caravans and utility trailers.
Manufactured from all stainless steel, these heavy-duty bearing protectors provide exceptional corrosion resistance compared to chrome-plated alternatives. Each protector features an integrated grease nipple for fast servicing and a spring-loaded piston that automatically maintains positive grease pressure as hub temperatures change during towing. Four soft PVC dust caps are included to keep the grease fittings clean and protected.
Designed to suit 45mm trailer hubs using LM (Holden) and SL Slimline (Ford) bearing combinations, this kit provides enough bearing protectors to service four hubs (two complete trailer axles). Ideal for boat trailers, caravans, camper trailers, horse floats, box trailers and commercial trailers operating in Australian conditions.

Before installation, remove the existing dust caps and ensure the hub bores are clean and free from damage. Fill each bearing protector gradually with high-quality marine wheel bearing grease until the spring-loaded piston begins to move outward. Avoid overfilling, as excessive grease pressure may damage the rear grease seals. Always confirm your hub dust cap diameter is 45mm before ordering to ensure correct fitment.
