The Viper Anchor Stop has been developed to provide added protection, security and peace of mind for boats fitted with an anchor winch.

During anchor retrieval, there is always a risk of the anchor being pulled too far into the bow roller, allowing the anchor or chain assembly to strike the forward roller, bowsprit or surrounding bow hardware. The Viper Anchor Stop creates a positive stopping point, helping prevent the anchor from being drawn hard into the roller assembly and reducing the risk of unnecessary damage.

The system also helps keep the anchor positioned safely away from the boat’s bow, reducing the chance of the anchor contacting the hull during retrieval, rough conditions or while travelling.

Once the anchor is fully retrieved, the Viper Anchor Stop allows it to be securely locked into the bow roller, helping prevent unwanted anchor movement whether the boat is underway, sitting at the ramp or being transported on a trailer.

Manufactured from premium 316 marine-grade stainless steel for excellent strength and corrosion resistance, installation requires a 12mm hole to be drilled through the shank of the anchor. The versatile design suits most common anchor styles, including traditional plough and fixed plough anchors, Delta, SARCA and slider-style anchors.
