Protect your trailer wheel bearings from water, dirt and corrosion with this premium 63mm Stainless Steel Bearing Protector. Commonly known as a Bearing Buddy, this spring-loaded bearing protector maintains constant grease pressure inside the hub, helping prevent water intrusion while extending bearing life. It is an excellent upgrade for boat trailers that are regularly immersed during launching and retrieval.
Manufactured entirely from stainless steel, this heavy-duty bearing protector offers superior corrosion resistance compared with standard chrome-plated units. The integrated grease nipple allows fresh grease to be added without removing the protector, while the internal spring-loaded piston continually maintains positive grease pressure as the hub heats and cools during operation.
Designed to suit 63mm trailer hubs, the protector is compatible with Parallel, 2 Tonne and selected 3 Tonne drum, disc and hub assemblies. It is ideal for boat trailers, caravans, camper trailers, horse floats and heavy-duty utility trailers operating in harsh Australian conditions.

Before installation, remove the existing dust cap and ensure the hub bore is clean and undamaged. Fill the bearing protector gradually with high-quality wheel bearing grease until the spring-loaded piston begins to move outward. Avoid overfilling, as excessive grease pressure may damage the rear grease seal. Always confirm your hub dust cap diameter is 63mm before ordering to ensure correct fitment.
